Our family of five moved to Scotts Valley in the summer of 2011.  From the moment we walked onto the Baymonte campus, it was like coming home to a wonderful family.  The attention that the staff gave us was amazing.  They made us feel welcome and instantly at ease.  Our children experienced a seamless transition from their previous school and they all felt like they had been attending Baymonte for years.

The teachers are dedicated educators who truly care about our children and the class size lends itself to a wonderful learning environment.

In our experience what sets Baymonte apart from other schools is its truly loving and caring community of staff, volunteers and parents.  Recently our family suffered a great loss and the support we received was beyond anything we have experienced.  The Baymonte community supports its families and children and feels like an extension of your own family.

Baymonte has been an incredible experience for us.  The standard of academic excellence and the emphasis on Godly character development has been such a blessing to our children.  Not only has Baymonte helped our children thrive academically but they are also laying the foundation of life skills that they will carry with them their entire lives.

There are so many reasons why I love having my kids at Baymonte.  Not only do I feel that my kids are receiving a well-rounded education, I also know they are safe and well taken care of.  The staff has become an extension of our family which is one of the best things about Baymonte….it’s a family and my children are loved.  Whenever I’m on campus I feel welcomed with open arms.  I enjoy having the opportunity to work in the classrooms and watch my children grow.  The teachers are in constant communcation with us regarding our children’s progress.

With the small campus and class size the teachers really get to know the needs of each and every student.  The staff all work together to make everything flow and connect.  Every day I see how the teachers love their work going above and beyond the call of what a teacher needs to do to be successful. My children are developing a love of learning of math, science, reading and Jesus!

It’s hard to explain how wonderful Baymonte is until you experience it first hand.

Attending Baymonte Christian pre-school through 8th grade provided me the tools to succeed in not only academics and athletics, but in life as well. The nurturing support I received from the teachers and staff is unlike anything I have ever experienced. The competitive sports nature at Baymonte elevated my game so I was ready for adversity at the next level. Looking back, attending Baymonte Christian was a very smart investment by my parents for my future.

I look upon my three middle school years at Baymonte fondly. For me Baymonte was a place where I was challenged spiritually and intellectually. At Baymonte, my faith finally became my own. I was taught Scripture in class and challenged by my peers and teachers to read the Bible on my own outside of class.

I entered Baymonte as an ambitious sixth grader. The curriculum challenged me, but more importantly every one of my teachers throughout my three years encouraged me to really strive for excellence. Something I didn’t recognize until long after I graduated is that Baymonte seems to be a magnet for innovative and creative teachers. In one sentence, I had a lot of fun at Baymonte and fun while learning and growing. I can’t think of anything that would have improved my three years there.

I am now a sophomore at Dartmouth College and though middle school seems long ago, I have carried into adulthood some valuable things that I found at Baymonte — a love of God, a handful of quality friends, and a love of creativity.
