Baymonte 4th Grade Teacher Hosts Soccer Clinic to Raise Money for Teacher Grants

Baymonte PTF put together a very successful fundraiser last month, it was our first annual Pancakes and PJs. Parents, children, and families came to Felton Bible Church in their pajamas while the teachers served them breakfast for dinner. Additionally, families could either participate in a silent auction, bidding on items from tickets to a Giants game to a condo in Hawaii. Also available were sign-up parties, events given by teachers, which students could participate in. On Sunday May 5, ten students ranging from 3rd to 5th grade participated in “Bend it Like Bologna,” a soccer clinic put on by Mrs. Bologna and her husband. The clinic was a huge success! Players got to learn skills, receive one-on-one coaching, and play some really fun games! It was an environment where laughter and learning happened all at the same time. The day ended with a Popsicle treat and, hopefully, a lifelong memory for the students who participated. A special thank you goes out to the students who attended! Mr. and Mrs. Bologna had a blast!

Pancakes & PJs A Fundraising Success

Our Pancakes and PJs Fundraiser hosted by PTF last Friday night raised more than $7,500 for teacher grants for the 2013-2014 school year. The pancakes were delicious, the decorations were a hit, the auction table was exciting, and everyone enjoyed themselves! We hope that you were able to go home with a sign-up party, raffle prize or silent auction winning. Thank you to everyone who participated in the evening. We appreciate all of the hard work the teachers, staff and parents did to make the evening a success.

PTF Sponsored Ice Cream Social was a Terrific Success

Hundreds of new and returning Baymonte families attended our inaugural Back to School Ice Cream Social last night. Over 400 Preschool through eighth grade students and their parents enjoyed delicious ice cream provided by Cold Stone Creamery. Rafik Abelian, local franchise owner and former Baymonte parent, generously provided an abundance of ice cream and toppings. The Baymonte Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) hosted this fun event which was a perfect way to kick-off our 2012-13 school year.
