Congratulations to our two student winners for turning in the most sponsorship money by Sept. 17th! In the preschool through 3rd grade category, our winner is Nico S. in 3rd grade. He a won Zhu Zhu Pet Set. Our 4th through 8th grade winner is 5th grader Daniel S. He won a boogie board. Way to go guys! Nearly $4,000 was turned in by Sept. 17th. The donations brought in by these two students also contributed to their classes winning the class competition. The 3B and 5B classes each won a Jamba Juice party. It was a welcome treat on a hot day last week!
Our next big deadline in Friday, October 1st. Students will win a raffle ticket for every $5 increment in donations they turn in by Oct. 1st. The winning students and their raffle prizes will be matched up and announced on Race Day, October 9th. We have received nearly 200 items from generous businesses and individuals. Students will also earn Golden Raffle Tickets for every $10 in donations they submit by Oct. 1st. The top 40 “premium” prizes will be on display during our Harvest Festival on Race Day. Students will choose their favorite premium prize(s) and deposit their Golden Tickets accordingly. Winning tickets will be pulled and announced throughout the morning.
Remember!! Everyone other than Baymonte students must register to run on Active.com. The deadline is October 1st. After that, runners may register on Race Day, October 9th, but the price increases to $30 for the 5K and $20 for the 1K.
