For many years Baymonte has supported Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse. The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way by packing gift-filled shoe boxes for needy children around the world.
A special assembly was held last Friday to collect and pray over the 441 boxes before they were loaded on trucks and brought to the Relay Center in Santa Cruz. Kindergarten mom, Dita Weist, shared with our students, teachers and parents her touching story about her family in Latvia. They received their first Christmas presents in the form of Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes several years ago. If you were not able to attend the event be sure to view the video.
