Three Campus Locations — One Great Start

Main Campus Granite Creek Road

Main Campus

A significant number of Santa Cruz County students have enjoyed their first school experience in a Baymonte preschool, with three preschool locations in Scotts Valley serving more than 100 students each year. Ask your neighbors about our strong programs and caring staff. We have a rich academic program to nurture and grow your child’s individual potential.

Our first preschool was established in 1973 to complement the growing elementary school on our Granite Creek Road campus. It continues to offer three different age-specific classes for students between the ages of three and five. Parents may enroll their children in two, three, or five-day options for either full or half days.

Preschool Too Scotts Valley Drive

Preschool Too

In 2001, when approached by the retiring owner of the nearby Parent Participation Preschool, we were able to purchase and remodel the facility on Scotts Valley Drive to create Baymonte Christian Preschool Too. We currently offer three part-time programs on this campus. Three- and four-year-old students attend on Tuesday and Thursday mornings while Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings are reserved for older students. A pre-kindergarten class is offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons.

Early Childhood Learning Center | Bethany Drive

Early Childhood Learning Center

In the summer of 2011, Bethany University was confronted with the difficult decision to close after serving students at their Scotts Valley campus for more than 60 years. Faced with the potential of concluding operations at their popular Early Childhood Learning Center, the leaders of the preschool and the University asked Baymonte to assume the operation and oversight of their preschool. Baymonte Early Childhood Learning Center is licensed to serve children two years old through entering into first grade in two different classrooms at this spacious campus in the redwoods on Bethany Drive.

Baymonte’s preschool was one of the first preschools in the state of California to receive accreditation with ACSI in 1991. Preschool Too also received accreditation the year it was founded. Additional accreditation through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges was granted in our school’s most recent accreditation visit. Each of our schools work collaboratively to provide superior Christian early education and work diligently to partner with their families in the process.
