“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” Psalm 119:105
What is Summer Quest?
9-Week Program: June 15th – August 12th
This summer, join us for an unforgettable adventure at Summer Quest! This year’s exciting theme is “Quest for Christ.” Campers will set out on a summer-long journey filled with faith, friendship, and fun as they learn what it means to follow the path to Jesus each day.
From brave knights and royal adventures to exciting challenges and discoveries, each week will invite campers to step into the spirit of a grand quest. They will learn that God’s Word is the greatest guide for every journey.
Our theme verse is:
“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
— Psalm 119:105
As we explore this verse, campers will discover how Scripture lights the way, gives us courage, and helps us walk confidently in faith wherever life’s path may lead.
Summer Quest is Baymonte Christian School’s summer camp program for students entering kindergarten through 5th grade. Our camp runs for nine weeks, and families may enroll for one week or all nine weeks—whatever best fits your summer schedule. Both part-time and full-time options are available each week.
Camp is open Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with exciting weekly Fun Days every Wednesday!
Quests & Adventures
Each week, campers will embark on exciting themed quests, team challenges, treasure hunts, and adventures designed to build confidence, teamwork, and joy.
Knights, Castles & Creativity
From royal crafts and castle creations to knightly games and imaginative play, campers will enjoy hands-on activities that bring the theme to life.
Journeys Beyond the Kingdom
Campers will enjoy exciting field trips and special events throughout the summer, adding even more adventure to their quest.
Fellowship & Friendship
Along the journey, students will build friendships, practice kindness, and create lasting memories through games, teamwork, and shared fun.
Faith & Courage
Through Bible stories, worship, memory verses, and meaningful discussions, campers will learn that true strength comes from following Christ and trusting His Word to guide every step.
A Summer to Remember
Our caring staff is ready to create a joyful, safe, and meaningful experience where every camper feels welcomed, encouraged, and valued.
We can’t wait to welcome your camper for a summer of adventure as we journey together on our Quest for Christ!

What to Know About Fun Days
OFF-CAMPUS FUN DAYS ARE OPTIONAL. Your camper is not required to attend off-campus Fun Days, but should you choose not to attend, there will be no staff on campus during those days. The details for the following week’s Fun Days will be posted at the sign-in table the prior week. Please note the times. If your camper is interested in participating, please sign him or her up as soon as possible so we can plan our staffing needs. This summer there will be ONE Fun Day that is for 2nd-5th graders ONLY. On this day there WILL be staff on campus to provide alternative camp programming for Kindergarten and 1st grade campers only, which will also include a shorter, local, age-appropriate trip.
EXTRA COST: Your camper’s weekly fee will cover most of the week’s activities, but some Fun Days may be an additional cost. The dollar amount will be communicated prior to the start of that week’s camp.
T-SHIRTS: T-shirts MUST be worn for every Fun Day and all off-campus Summer Quest trips.
TRANSPORTATION: Some Fun Days are on the Baymonte campus or within walking distance from Baymonte. Others are still within Scotts Valley and the city bus will provide our transportation. For those field trips that are further than our city’s transportation, we will rent a van service, or ask parents to drop off and pick up at the Fun Day location. If parents are needed to drop off or pick up at the Fun Day location, this will be noted on the sign-up sheet and communicated in advance.
FAQ’S
DO I HAVE TO PACK SNACKS FOR MY CAMPER OR ARE SNACKS PROVIDED?
We provide an afternoon snack for each camper. Please make sure to send them with a morning snack and lunch every day for camp! This includes Fun Days (unless specifically stated otherwise).
DO I REALLY HAVE TO SHOW MY ID EVERY TIME?
Your camper’s safety is our absolute top priority. We have staff working different shifts and with such a high volume of kids, sometimes it’s hard for every staff member to know every parent who comes through at pick-up time. As an added level of security, please be prepared to show ID at pick-up time. If someone else is picking up your camper, please make sure that they are prepared to show his/her ID.
WHAT CAN MY CAMPER BRING (OR NOT BRING) TO CAMP?
Sunscreen: we will reapply sunscreen on your camper every day. However, if you have a special sunscreen they need to use, please send sunscreen with them, labeled with your camper’s name.
Toys and Electronics: please leave toys and electronics at home. We do not want them lost, traded or broken. We also want our campers to participate in activities instead of using their electronics. This includes cell phones or smart watches. If your camper needs to call you, they will use the Summer Quest phone located in the Summer Quest classroom or the Baymonte office phone located in the office.
WHAT SHOULD MY CAMPER WEAR TO SUMMER QUEST?
Your camper should wear clothes that are comfortable and that they can be active in! Please have them wear closed-toed shoes. Layers are best as it can turn from cold in the morning to very warm in the afternoon. Summer Quest t-shirts MUST be worn on field trips and off-campus Summer Quest trips.
WHAT DOES MY CAMPER WEAR ON POOL/WATER DAYS?
Campers will need to wear a modest bathing suit. Girls must wear a one-piece and boys are not permitted to wear Speedos. Have your camper wear sunscreen, bring a pool towel and water play shoes (no flip flops).
WHAT ARE THE BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS FOR MY CAMPER?
Camper behavior is important to the overall health of our Summer Quest program. We expect our campers to abide by our elementary handbook policy.
