Recently some of our Baymonte middle schoolers participated in the 2023 Santa Cruz County Math Contest at Aptos High School. Forty teams made up of 150 students in grades five through eight participated in the event. Baymonte’s Grade 5 team came in 2nd place and our Grade 6 team received 1st place. A 1st place individual award was won by Ronchen Luo in grade 5 and Karsten Wadhams, a seventh grade student, received 3rd place. We are so proud of our mathletes! Way to go!
