Lauri McNeill was nominated for Baymonte’s Above and Beyond Award! This award recognizes teachers and staff who consistently go above and beyond their normal job expectations to ensure students are well cared for and receive a high-quality education. Some of the great things said about Mrs. McNeill:
“Both of my kids have been blessed to enjoy art instruction from Mrs. McNeill. Her talent for art, architecture and teaching are top notch. During COVID, she hasn’t been able to teach as many classes with our schedule restrictions and yet she cheerfully shows up bringing AMAZING art instruction, inspiration and fun each week to 5th and 6th graders. So many times people take art for granted. I’m so thankful for the bit of beauty Mrs. McNeill brings wherever she goes. What grace she shows to keep coming and inspiring our students without complaint!”
“Mrs. McNeill is one of the most creative people I know! Her enthusiasm about art and the awesome way she teaches students the importance of thinking out of the box is simply the best! Having Mrs. McNeill at Baymonte Christian School is a gift. She is a very busy individual who has her own architecture business but still makes time to come and teach our students. My son has learned so much from Mrs. McNeill as she has inspired him to even want to become an architect himself when he is older. She has taught him so many priceless skills and has a fun and exciting way she teaches her art classes that really promotes creativity. If you get a chance to meet Mrs. McNeill you will definitely be encouraged by her bubbly personality and amazed at her awesome art prompts she challenges the students to do along with her creative teaching. She also did an amazing job this year putting our school yearbook together. Thank you!!!”
“Mrs. McNeill has the unique ability to bring out the artist in my son. He has never explored nor enjoyed art on his own, but she has worked with and challenged him over the last couple of years and now he enjoys it! She is a wonderful teacher and our school is blessed to have her!”
Thank you, Mrs. McNeill. We love and appreciate you!
