This year at Baymonte Christian School we are highlighting alumni – past students who’ve attended Baymonte, many preschool through eighth grade! Today we are highlighting Kelsea (Brough) Claassen. Here’s what she had to say about her time at Baymonte:
I loved how everyone felt like family at Baymonte. I am still in touch with some of my classmates and teachers/staff that were a part of Baymonte while I attended there. Baymonte just makes you feel like you have a home away from home. It’s such a warm and welcoming place!
There are so many fond memories I have about Baymonte. Track and field day was always a favorite for me. Chapel was also a highlight each week. There were always certain songs I always looked forward to singing along with. I remember in kindergarten what I looked forward to the most was hunting the buffalo for the feast! It’s such a fun memory to look back on.
One of the best ways Baymonte prepared me for the rest of my school career was how to take efficient and useable notes. I still use the methods I was taught now even for everyday situations. Having God at the center of Baymonte was really important for me to have at that age. It really set me up for success in my high school career when I went to public school for the first time.
Thanks for sharing Kelsea!
