Artwork at Home During Distance Learning

April 16, 2020 by Leslie Rapolla

Van Gogh quoted, “Normality is a paved road: comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow.” In our sheltered days, we know that adversity also brings blessings through faith and we have been able to find new paths of creativity, family connections and rest in God during these challenging times. Distance learning isn’t slowing Baymonte art teacher, Lauri McNeill down. She “meets” with her fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth graders weekly online via google classroom. These pieces of artwork were assigned and drawn or painted by her awesome students with “doodle” and van Gogh” art prompts.
