Baymonte eighth graders enjoyed five fun-filled days of adventure last week! They started their week with completing the Sequoia Aerial Adventure ropes and zipline course at Mount Hermon on Monday. Tuesday they had a relaxing day day at a classmate’s pool complete with a visit from Aunt LaLi’s ice cream truck. On Wednesday, they took a train ride at Roaring Camp Railroads and completed a scavenger hunt in the Redwood Loop at Henry Cowell State Park. Thursday they were up bright and early to get out on the water for a kayak tour with Venture Quest Kayaking. They saw otters, sea lions and even a whale spout! On Friday, they concluded their week with a morning of service distributing food to the needy at Second Harvest Food Bank. In the evening, they returned to Baymonte for a movie night, BBQ dinner, and campfire with their beloved mentor, Jared Fujishin.
