Baymonte Kindergarteners Visit Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History

What would you eat if you were living in Santa Cruz a thousand years ago? One of the most important food sources for the indigenous people along the Central Coast was deer. Use all of your senses and explore a few of the ways they would have prepared for a deer hunt.

That’s just what Baymonte’s kindergarteners did on their class field trip to the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History. Students learned about native plant and animal species as well as human communities of the Santa Cruz region. Thank you Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History for an informative and fun field trip!
