The Bricksters (…as in Lego bricks!)
Miss Hofmann and Mr. Siemsen led the charge as our Robotics club participated in the 2010 Robotic Competition last Saturday. Sixteen Baymonte students on three First Lego League (FLL) teams competed at FLL Nor Cal Tournament in San Jose on Saturday Nov 13th. Students designed, built and programmed NXTMindstorms to compete in the challenge. They also presented what they learned about biomedical engineering. Each team finished three missions for a very respectable showing in the program’s second year. The teams were coached by recent Baymonte alumni; Nicholas Besse, (‘09), Brandon Brown (‘09), and Connor Maliesky (‘10). Congratulations to all students, Miss Hofmann and coaches on a solid performance and great teamwork.
