On December 5th Baymonte’s Individualized Program of Instruction (IPI) class held a bake sale to raise money for a local family in need. This family has a child with a severe brain injury and recently lost their home and belongings to a fire. The students were very excited to help any way they could. With a $1340.00 check from the bake sale proceeds, the class took a field trip to the mothers’ place of work to surprise her with the check. They also presented cards that they had each made for the family members. The family was extremely grateful for the outpouring of love and kindness. Who knows who received the greater blessing- the receiving family or the giving students?
