Baymonte students’ work was on display at the Young Author’s Fair on Saturday at the Capitola Mall. Accompanied by schools all throughout the county, student writing was displayed in order to showcase how hard our students work and how well they write from first grade all the way through eighth grade. Writing projects included first grade writing portfolios, second grade pond and ocean books, third grade President’s books and squiggle stories, fourth grade Island Stories and Mining Journals, and so many more! Families, teachers and shoppers stopped to peruse and comment on our Baymonte student’s work. Many students from other schools read their stories aloud for all to hear in the Author’s chair. This was an excellent opportunity to showcase our school and the hard work our students put into their writing projects all throughout the year! Thank you to all who stopped by to see our display and honor our kids’ work!
