Baymonte Welcomes New Spanish Teacher

Baymonte Welcomes New Spanish Teacher

March 23, 2016 by Leslie Rapolla

Rebekah Valencia teaches Spanish and the journalism elective here at Baymonte middle school. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a major in both Spanish and Journalism. Rebekah spent the last year working for International Justice Mission in the Philippines, where she worked on the communications for an office working to end human trafficking. She’s excited to be at Baymonte, sharing her passion for Spanish and helping give her students the ability to communicate with so many more people in this world! When she’s not teaching Baymonte students Spanish, she hopes you can find her writing, helping social justice nonprofits, traveling to different countries, and (if the sun is out) exploring this gorgeous west coast.
