In November, 26 boys from Baymonte’s Young Mens’ Ministry left for Los Angeles for the annual Acquire the Fire Youth Conference. These students joined with 1,500 others from different youth groups and schools. The boys that attended the conference had an unforgettable experience. The two-day conference brought many popular Christian speakers and artists, such as Mark Burnett and Silverline, into one powerful weekend.
“Epic Truth Stronger than Fiction”, this years’ theme, dealt with the issue that teens are no longer talked out of their faith, rather they are mocked out of their faith. The conference went in depth explaining what it means to live out ones Christian faith. Many students’ favorite part of the conference was the worship in a large setting with like-minded believers.
