If you’ve been around Baymonte very long, you know the term, “Calif”! Baymonte fourth grade students create special projects throughout the year to illustrate some of California’s unique features while learning California history. Students shown in these photos have constructed the Big Dipper roller coaster or the Golden Gate Bridge out of various materials, built a snowman or a sign out of California Redwood, drawn and labeled the state flower (California poppy), made their own board game, illustrated a visitor’s brochure and an ABC California book. Students have fun completing these projects while learning about their home state!
