Baymonte’s sixth graders just returned from an unforgettable week at Catalina Island, where learning expanded into the beauty of nature.
Throughout the week, students took part in exciting activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, and hiking. One of the most memorable and unique experiences was the squid dissection lab, where students had the chance to get up close and personal with marine biology.
When they weren’t exploring the wonders of nature, students enjoyed plenty of fun during their free time. Competitive games of volleyball, gaga ball, and pickleball matches kept everyone active.
This Catalina trip was a powerful reminder of the uniqueness and beauty of God’s creation, and allowed our students to deepen their appreciation for the world around them.
