We are excited to announce that Christie Olson has accepted the position of Vice Principal at Baymonte Christian School. She will continue to teach fourth grade in addition to performing her Vice Principal duties.
Christie received her B.A. in music performance from George Fox University. She received her credential and her Master’s in Education from Vanguard University. She has taught at many levels from kindergarten to college, but finds fourth grade to be her “happy place”. She is a history nut and gets a kick out of turning kids on to California history. When she’s not grading papers, she likes to sing, act, or curl up under a blanket with a really good book. She loves to spend time beachcombing with her husband and singing on the worship team at Twin Lakes Church. She joined the Baymonte teaching staff full-time in 2003. Prior to accepting her new role, Christie had also been working in an administrative capacity as Curriculum Coordinator and Elementary Lead Teacher for several years.
