Beginning this month, Baymonte Christian School will hold a new event for our school families: Coffee and Conversations led by school principal, Rachel Hofmann. Our goal is to take an hour to encourage parent connections and facilitate conversations to support BCS students in their learning and growth. There will be a conversation topic and guest each month and our principal will lead a discussion and field questions. Books from our Family Resource Library will be available for checkout. The event will be held on campus in the Culwell Den and all Baymonte families are invited. Dates and topics are below:
Friday, March 17 at 8:15am: Techwise Families with Christie Olson. We’ll discuss navigating technology with your children, tweens, and teens!
Friday, April 14 at 8:15am: Music Education with Elizabeth Barrett. Our topics will include the value of music education, stages of musical development, and how to get kids to enjoy music practice.
Friday, May 12 at 8:15am: Raising Kids who Read with Rachel Tubb. Learn about the Science of Reading, Baymonte’s reading programs, and how to encourage reading this summer.
