Today’s encouragement is from middle school science teacher, Jeremae Reyes.
“Hi guys! I hope you all are hanging in there with distance learning. I know I am trying to as a teacher. I know this situation is not ideal for most of us (especially for us, teachers, who miss you all very much). We never expected to enter into 2020 knowing that for about a fourth of our year, we would be quarantined in our own homes. But allow me to drop truth that has helped me cope with our changing world and unexpected circumstance: Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.” This means that even in our changing world, Jesus is still the same. He is faithful. He is just. He loves us. He is merciful to us. He hears our prayers. He is answering our prayers. Isn’t that the best news? We can hold on to this truth in any situation we go through because Jesus made a way for us to be in communion with Him. I hope this encourages you today. The struggle is real… but our God is real too!”
