Over the next few weeks Baymonte’s amazing teachers and staff will be featured here sharing a word of encouragement and/or a challenge. Today’s message is from Mr. Patterson:
“I am so proud of our Baymonte community! It is a true test of character to see how a person handles adversity. I am impressed by our faculty, parents, and students and the way they have handled the rapid transition to a new form of learning.
A major characteristic of our school is the loving environment and culture. While it is difficult to express that nature through digital connections, you have made the best of it. I have enjoyed several opportunities to drop in on Zoom class meetings and watch video lessons that our teachers have created. You all are doing a great job in maintaining those personal connections.
I’m disappointed that we’ve had to cancel our two middle school mission trips. These trips are a specific expression of our school’s commitment to service. I’d like to challenge our students and families to find ways to serve others in the community during this time. If you are able to do that, please share your ideas with the rest of us.
We miss you and can’t wait to be together in person again.”
“God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” Hebrews 6:10
