October is Fire Prevention Month, and Baymonte kindergarten classes were very excited to have John and Megan Bridges, who are members of the Scotts Valley Fire Protection District, come visit their classrooms to teach about fire safety. Other members of their team visited as well, and the class learned how and when to call 911, what to do if their clothing catches on fire (stop, drop, and roll), and what to do if they find matches or other dangerous materials. First and second graders also had educational visits from the fire department this week. We are so thankful to the Scotts Valley Fire Protection District for the time and energy given to teach us how to stay safe!
