Mike Powell will be honored on the “The Oprah Winfrey Show” for his participation in the famous Freedom Riders movement. The episode is called “Oprah Honors American Heroes: The Freedom Riders Reunite 50 Years Later.”
KSBW will also have an interview with Powell and his grandson, a Baymonte fourth grader, on tonight’s evening news.
