Baymonte Christian School’s golf season was one to be remembered. Sporting newbies and veterans, the team, James Thompson, Brody Affolter, Luke Finney, Jacob Meschi, Ryan Linn, Braidan Lewis and Samuel McNeely, won 10 matches and lost 2. At the SCCAL Tournament, Jacob, Brody and James won longest drive and closest to the pin prizes. James Thompson won MVP of the team for his exemplary sportsmanship and consistent scoring. Falling to Aptos Middle School, Baymonte’s boys came in a close second place, the best showing for the school in years. Next year promises to be even more stellar as our new 6, 7 & 8th graders grow in their skills and mature in the mastery of the game.
