We are pleased to announce Kayla Delgado as the new Aide and Extended Care Supervisor for Baymonte. Kayla has been blessed to call Santa Cruz home for her entire life. She has worked with children of various ages for over 10 years in ministry, after school programs, and volunteering at Del Mar Elementary. She has also been a teacher’s aide at Baymonte for two years. Before working at Baymonte, Kayla and her husband managed their family restaurant for many years. In addition, she has been serving as the Director of Music Ministries at Faith Community Church since fall of 2019.
Kayla has loved being a teacher’s aide these past two years, and is joyously anticipating stepping into the Aide and Extended Care Supervisor position this fall. She’s eager to apply the managerial skills developed in previous jobs, along with her gift of hospitality. Kayla looks forward to being a trusted individual on campus and someone the students know they can come to for encouragement, prayer, and support.
