Today’s message is from Twinkler preschool class teacher, Christy Kanawyer.
“I am missing my Baymonte families a lot. I miss starting my morning being attacked with hugs from my sweet preschoolers. I miss seeing their smiling faces and hearing their laughter.
I didn’t plan to teach first, third and sixth grade all at the same time, but that is what I am doing these days. We have amazing teachers stepping up to the plate to serve our kids, and what a great job they are doing. I now start my morning snuggling on the coach with Hailey and Bradley while we listen to Mrs. Hazen read the BFG on our Chromebook. Upstairs, I can hear Sydney laughing while she virtually socializes with her friends before math class starts.
I guess my new normal isn’t that bad, it’s just different. I still start with hugs and laughter. I can live with that! I pray that our Baymonte families come out of this shelter in place with a strong family bond and deeper appreciation for one another. God bless! Love, Mrs. Christy
