Message from Mrs. Schimmel

April 8, 2020 by Leslie Rapolla

Over the next few weeks Baymonte’s amazing teachers and staff will be featured here sharing a word of encouragement and a challenge. Today’s message is from Sarah Schimmel, one of Baymonte’s IPI (Indpendent Program of Instruction) Instructors.

A warm hello to Baymonte families,

I have so enjoyed touching base individually with my students through Zoom! I have had the joy of meeting dogs, cats, guinea pigs and younger siblings. It makes you all feel not so far away! Right before we left, some of my students and I had been reading a book about a kind shepherd who goes out into the storm to find his one lost little lamb. Such a great reminder during this storm we are in that we have this kind Shepherd who cares so deeply for us. I would love to encourage my students to spend time with their kind Shepherd. Talk to Him about your loneliness, worries and your joys. “Casting all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you. “ 1 Peter 5:7

And I look forward to seeing you all again!!
