Message from Principal, Steve Patterson, with an update on our 7th grade Mexico Mission Trip:
The trip is going well. Tuesday we dug trenches for utilities for the new orphanage house, Casa Libertad, which will be built in 5 days this June. We mixed concrete and filled retaining walls. An awesome crew led by Don LaHood and Brian Atchley started framing roof trusses for the same house.
By the end of the day yesterday we completed all the work they had planned for us and they had to find additional jobs for today.
Last night we hosted a youth event in a nearby Colonia. Tonight we will help with an evangelistic service.
The kids are doing well. They are a hard working group.
