We are so happy to welcome Aubrie Polito back to Baymonte Christian School as a second grade teacher! Aubrie grew up in Portola Valley, California and knew she wanted to be a teacher from a young age. Aubrie attended Santa Clara University for her undergraduate studies and received her teaching credential and master’s degree from Notre Dame de Namur University.
Aubrie has taught kindergarten, first grade, second grade and fourth grade. She has also worked as a reading specialist. She and her husband moved to Aptos in 2017 and attend Twin Lakes Church. They have two sons. Their son Colby is almost 3 and will be attending Baymonte’s preschool in the fall. Aubrie is excited to have him on campus with her! Dylan is 6 months old, and looks forward to joining his brother and mom at Baymonte in the future!
Aubrie loves building relationships with her students and is especially passionate about teaching reading, and helping her students develop a love for reading. Aubrie is also a certified Pilates instructor and has been teaching Pilates for ten years. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, water skiing, doing Pilates, being with her family, and spending time at the beach. Aubrie is very excited to be returning to the Baymonte community.
