After substitute teaching in second grade last year, Sarah Schimmel will now be joining us as a full-time second grade teacher in the fall. Sarah received her degree in liberal studies at Biola University and completed her credential at University of California, Irvine. She taught in Southern California for several years before moving north. She has been part of the Baymonte family for over 20 years as a parent and teacher. She has taught in the IPI program as well as the middle school. In her free time she loves to hike, read and spend as much time with her family as possible, especially her new grandson! She is looking forward to being a second grade teacher! She has a strong desire to see her students grow in their academic skills, as well as developing a lasting faith in Christ.
