Over the next few weeks Baymonte’s amazing teachers and staff will be featured here sharing a word of encouragement and/or a challenge. Today’s message is from kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Toback
“Greetings Baymonte Family,
I still remember where I was when President John F. Kennedy was shot. I vividly remember the shaking of the 1989 earthquake here in Santa Cruz. Now, we are living through a world-wide unforgettable event. The Covid-19 crisis will be something we will all remember. The Baymonte students of 2020 will have a special place in the hearts of all the teachers because of the challenges we are facing together.
When we feel out of control remember Who is in control!
We are not alone! God is a very real help in time of trouble. “He loves us and He is in control.” Psalm 46:1
Children, you may feel like there is really nothing you can do to help. But here is one important thing that could make a big difference: Listen and obey your parents this week. They are under a lot of pressure and your good attitude will make things a lot easier. Remember to say ‘thank you’ every day. I hope we are able to see eachother back on campus soon. I miss you!
Love, and prayers, Mrs. Toback”
