Baymonte 4th & 5th grade students enjoyed a performance by Alden Cohen, a bass player with the Santa Cruz Symphony and a substitute with the San Francisco Symphony, at a special assembly today. Cohen shared with our students about classical music, covering 21st century music dating all the way back to Mozart. He played favorites from Harry Potter and themes from Star Wars and beyond as a preview to their upcoming field trip. On February 27th, these students will attend a Santa Cruz Symphony concert at the Civic Auditorium.
