After 14 years of teaching at Baymonte Christian School, Rachel Hofmann was unanimously voted by the search committee to assume the role of principal beginning with the new school year. There is nobody more passionate about this school or more steadfast in her service to our families. God led our school board and committee well in making this decision, and we are excited that Rachel has graciously accepted the offer. Rachel brings many unique strengths to this position including a discerning intelligence that she uses to strategize and think outside of the box while also having an emotional intelligence that allows her to deeply connect with her students.
Rachel shares her thoughts with us, “I’ve been blessed beyond measure by the Baymonte community since I first attended as a student in 1993, and I’m deeply honored to have the support of so many as we seek to navigate this time of transition. I know we will all strive to continue to follow Steve’s example of gracious and wise leadership. While I will miss the classroom, I’m excited to work alongside our amazing staff to help our kids grow in wisdom and faith. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us next year!”
We know there are so many good things in store for Baymonte as we move forward! Please join us in welcoming and encouraging Rachel as she steps into her new role!
