Second Grade

Supplies provided

Third Grade (Updated)

New International Version Bible (NIV). It needs to have Old and New Testaments and a concordance to keep at school. You will need a Bible at home for some assignments as well. It’s important that we all have the same version so that we can easily read along together.

1 Plain white or black 3 ring binder (1 1/2inches width with window pocket on front)

1 folder with pockets

3 glue sticks

1 glue bottle

1 composition notebook

1 fine tip black sharpie

2 red pens

1 box of tissue

1 container of Clorox type disinfecting wipes

1 box of pencils to share

1 box of colored pencils

1 box of oil pastels (Palace Arts has them for $1.50)

Fourth Grade (Updated 8/27)

Required Supplies:

  1. A New International Version (NIV) Bible, preferably one with a concordance. (To be left at school!) Some youth Bibles have a “dictionary concordance” which is confusing and not very thorough. A regular concordance would be better. You can find a good one on www.cbd.com, type in “NIV Bible Concordance” and get options in various colors, etc.
  2. A 1½ inch three ring binder. Specifically: Avery Heavy-Duty (or Durable) view binder with EZ turn rings. We’ve found this exact binder works best and lasts all year. If you go with something different, it is ESSENTIAL that it has: pockets inside the front and back covers, view space on the front and back for papers to slide in and be seen.
  3. A set of Colored Pencils
  4. A set of Thin Markers
  5. A Highlighter
  6. A basic Calculator
  7. A Pencil Sharpener with a lid
  8. A container of Lysol/Clorox wipes and 1 package of unscented baby wipes
  9. A five-subject spiral notebook with pocket dividers for holding papers, wide ruled paper
  10. $5 for extra supplies inside your binder
  11. A backpack (not the rolling kind, they do not fit in cubbies
  12. Two packages of wide ruled binder paper
  13. 2 packages (or boxes) of standard #2 Pencils
  14. Several blue and red pens
  15. 1 box of Kleenex
  16. A sock that has lost its mate (this will make sense later)

Optional Supplies: For students to keep in their desk. These are not required.

–  A ruler

–  Scotch Tape

–  A good pair of scissors

–  Extra #2 or mechanical pencils

–  A pencil pouch to keep things from rolling (boxes don’t fit in the desks)
