As we anticipate the class of 2021 concluding their high school adventure, we are celebrating Baymonte alumni and their accomplishments. Join us in prayer as they transition to the next chapter of their lives! Today’s senior spotlight is Maya Enns. Here’s what Maya said about her time at Baymonte:
“I enjoyed how the Baymonte teachers really cared about me, helped me and cared about my well-being. I realize now how important it is for teachers to not only help us excel in academics but also to care about students’ mental health.
A highlight from Baymonte was definitely the Mexico mission trip to Rancho de Sus Ninos. It was a great experience and it taught me to not take things for granted. It also helped me to care about others’ needs more and be content with a small number of belongings. Baymonte taught me that it’s important to be a light to others. People who have it hard need good encouragement.
I attend Scotts Valley High School and a highlight of high school is when I was in The Scotts Valley Press Banner with Elena Bunney. We were highlighted for running green team and we spoke to high school students about how to be more eco-friendly. I plan to attend Cabrillo Community College after high school.”
