As we anticipate the class of 2020 concluding their high school adventure, we are celebrating Baymonte alumni and their accomplishments. Join us in prayer as they transition to the next chapter of their lives! Today’s senior spotlight is James Renouf. Here’s what James said about his time at Baymonte:
“During my time at Baymonte, I enjoyed many things: I loved spending time with my friends, participating in clubs after school, and the great staff that helped me through it all.
My highlight at Baymonte would definitely be the seventh grade Rancho de Sus Ninos trip. This trip helped me realize how blessed I am and how many people had much less than I do. The opportunity to help others made me happy.
Baymonte helped me to prepare for high school by teaching me academics. Specific classes that helped me learn a lot were the STEM classes that I got to be a part of.
One of the highlights I am most proud of from my high school years (SLVHS) is winning a cheerleading competition against 21 other teams. Accomplishing this made me feel like all the hard work that I had put in with my friends was worth it.
Next year I plan to go to San Francisco State University and study history. I plan to become a history teacher and am excited to further my studies in college.”
