Dear Preschool Parents,
The governor’s recent response to rising COVID-19 infection rates has placed Santa Cruz County back into the purple, or most restrictive tier, of our state’s response plan. While our county’s rates are lower than many, other areas in our state and country are experiencing record rates of COVID-19 infection.
We are strongly recommending that school families adhere to the governor’s recommendation limiting family gatherings to three local households. If your family plans to travel out of the area over this Thanksgiving holiday break, or if you plan to host visitors from out of the area, we are asking you to keep your student home the week after Thanksgiving. We want to take every reasonable precaution to keep our student population healthy.
As a reminder, all three preschool campuses are closed Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27. Thank you for doing your part in protecting our children.
