We go down to serve, but often come away learning more and receiving more spiritually than we could ever hope to give. I am beyond proud of our Baymonte family for their heart, passion and love for others as they were in Mexico. We danced, played hours of “trice” (tag), and went out into the community to pick up trash and worship with people of local towns.
The spiritual climate is always high in Mexico, and I look forward to processing through the trip more with our students in the days to follow— but rest assured, God always does amazing things when we step out of our comfort zone and put others before ourselves.
Thank you God for another great year!
