Be Bold! That is our theme this year which can be applied directly into your training for the Tech Trek. By this I mean, START TODAY, get outside and walk or run. Get outside your comfort zone. No more excuses. Just try. You don’t have to do a 5k today. A lap around the soccer field or neighborhood is a great place to start. It doesn’t have to be fast, just do what you can do to get started. Remember if you are new to exercising just walk. If not, try jogging until you need to walk and then repeat the process. Being active is so important for your body and what a great incentive to start with our Tech Trek. Remember to listen to your body and when it tells you to rest/recover do so and get right back into it. The worst thing you can do for your body is not to train. Injuries will be more prone to happen if you don’t train and just go out the day of the event and run.
