It’s hot, I mean really hot right now. As you prepare for Baymonte’s Tech Trek, hydration is essential. This means drink plenty of water, more than normal, on these warm days. With only 4 weeks left until the event, it is not too late to start training for the 5K. This week remember to take it slow and train in the morning when it’s cool or later in the evenings. One way to start is to walk for one minute, jog for one minute. If this seems too hard, try jogging for 30 seconds, walking for one minute for a total of 30 minutes. As your fitness progresses, increase your jogging time while decreasing your walking time. If you don’t jog and still want to participate, walking the 5K on Oct. 10th is a wonderful alternative. All you need to do is move. Enjoy your training this week!
