You may have seen a new face on campus recently. We are happy to welcome Dan Hinz to Baymonte as our new Facilities Manager.
Dan was born in Chicago and grew up in Southern California. After graduating from Back Bay High School in 1983, he worked for his uncle, a general contractor, building custom homes in Nelle Gail Ranch in Laguna Hills. He got saved on October 8, 1995 at 11:33am and was immediately called to ministry where he attended a semester at North Central Bible College and graduated with a BA in Ministerial Studies at Phoenix First Pastor’s College in 1999. Upon graduation, Pastor Tommy Barnett hired him as Facilities Manager at the New Scottsdale Dream Center and Head Security at the main 10,000 member, 67 acre campus of Phoenix First Assembly. God called him to Scotts Valley in 2003 where he worked for San Lorenzo Floors Abbey Carpets and did all kinds of handiwork until getting his C-33 Painting Contractor’s License in 2010 with the joy of the Lord as his strength. He loves fixing things and making things run smoothly in any environment. Serving the staff and inspiring children is his heart. He loves spending time with his wife, Melissa, who is an IPI teacher here at Baymonte and being a kid with his kids, Mikayla and Noah, who attend Baymonte also. His favorite life verse is Philippians 4:13 AMPC, “I have strength for all things in Christ who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything in Him who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].”
